The 8-inch steel drum can be played in three different ways.

• Playing with the hands gives a softer sound.
• Played directly with the fingers or with attached finger picks, different tones result.
• With the help of the drumsticks, the sound creates an echo that is more penetrating, powerful and ethereal.
• In addition to the ability to unlock, there are songs and colors painted on the Tambu, which correspond to the attached songbook. The TAMBÚ has 11 tones and is tuned in G major.
