Charlie the Chicken always dreamed of flying. He couldn't figure out why chickens had such lovely wings but were unable to use them. He also found it curious that he had long, soft, slender legs. "What are these for?" he often pondered. One day, while peeking through Clancy the Cowgirl’s window, he caught a glimpse of the Olympic hammer throw final on TV, and an idea struck him... if he could find a little human with a strong enough grip to take him in, he might finally experience the thrill of soaring through the sky!
Unlike squeakers, which can be tricky for babies to use on their own, the soft sound produced by a rattle when babies hold or shake it encourages action-reaction learning. This gives babies and toddlers an immediate reward, helping them grasp the concept of cause and effect.
