Ergo Pouch Cocoon Swaddle Bags are engineered to provide ease of use while preventing any chance of escape. This summer swaddle with a zip closure is rated for warmth, ensuring that it keeps a baby snug and securely swaddled without the need for complex wrapping right from the start. Its 0.2 TOG rating means that it can be used on its own in room temperatures of 22°C+ / 72°F+ without additional blankets, making it a safe sleep option for newborns and babies during warmer months. Parents can adjust layers underneath the light swaddle for added warmth and can refer to the complimentary room thermometer and dressing guide included with the product to dress their child appropriately. For added warmth, we recommend using it with one of our TOG-rated Layers or Bodywear (sold separately).

The 0.2 TOG Cocoon Swaddle Bag is crafted from GOTS certified organic cotton with a hint of elastane, providing firmness to restrict the startle reflex while allowing for stretch and movement essential for healthy growth. The stretch also facilitates full chest expansion during breathing, ensuring comfort, and allowing the baby to move its hands into a self-settling position within the swaddle. The organic cotton used is soft, breathable, certified non-toxic, dyed with water-based dyes, and gentle on newborn skin and skin prone to eczema. Additionally, the zip enclosure protects the baby's delicate skin, and the convenient arm poppers allow the Cocoon to transition from an arms-in summer swaddle to an arms-out sleeping bag when the baby shows signs of rolling. Its bell-shaped design is endorsed by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as being hip-healthy, promoting proper joint development in the hips and shoulders. Lastly, the two-way zipper allows for quick and easy nappy changes during sleep with minimal disturbances.
