A Lifelong Dream in the Making

Lunar Bay is the realization of a dream nurtured by Tina, the heart and soul behind our store. Originally from Orange, Tina’s passion for children began early in her career working with primary school students with additional needs. Her dedication to supporting children’s growth and learning formed the foundation of her professional and personal life.

In 2002, Tina relocated to the coastal town of Tuncurry, where she raised her three children while pursuing a fulfilling career in Early Childhood education. During this time, Tina specialized in sensory play and discovered the profound impact of extending learning through creativity and imagination. Her deep connection to children’s development and enthusiasm for playful learning became the driving forces behind the idea of Lunar Bay.

Tina’s dream of creating a space where families could find high-quality, sustainable, and unique products became a reality with Lunar Bay Forster and now open Lunar Bay Taree.
